Dr. Ivey

Dr. Ivey is excellent. RBJC should be proud to have this doctor on their staff. If there was a foot and ankle god…he’d be it! Prior to my surgery my foot was twisted and I was walking on the inside of my ankle. This was causing bad ulcers on the inside of my ankles. In October of 2008 Dr. Ivey reconstructed my ankle and foot. My foot, ankle, and leg are now aligned with each other and I can walk.

Dr Ivey and Orlando (the cast guy) are awesome and we will be sure to send anyone we know that has any type of problem your way. I have a ways to go but I know I am going in the right direction to recovery.

Thanks Again

I had a tendon rupture and needed surgery. Dr. Ivey went out of his way to explain all the details of surgery and the recovery. He was very helpful in coordinating the care with the Physical Therapy department. The collaboration between the doctor and therapist, Danny, enabled me to gain pain free full range of motion. I now walk without pain and have been able to workout 3 to 4 times a week. Prior to surgery I couldn’t walk much less workout.

I was devastated when I broke the growth plate in my big toe, but going to Richmond Bone and Joint Clinic and meeting Dr. Ivey gave me hope. Everyone at Richmond Bone and Joint Clinic were very supportive and kind. It took me a long time to get better, but I am doing gymnastics again and that is all that matters. Thank you again Richmond Bone and Joint Clinic for taking care of me, and thank you Dr. Ivey.

Hannah scored her first goal for OU against Missouri State on a Sunday night in September.  She had been playing some and had some shots on goal, but that was her first goal.  There’s a highlight clip of the goals from that game.  She worked really hard at rehabbing her ankle and making an impression so she could get playing time.  She looks like herself again.

The link below shows Hannah, she’s #19 and hers is the 3rd goal for OU that night.  It was a strong right footed kick.

So, needless to say we want to thank you for the great job you did on her surgery and your care for that problem as well as all the others.

Most Sincerely,
Paul and Mindy Petkovsky
