Cari Coulter, Dietitian
Richmond Bone and Joint Clinic
She believes her role as a dietitian is not only to provide nutrition education, but to supply each client with tools and skills that will make it easier for them to modify their behaviors to act in accordance with this knowledge. She accomplishes this by approaching each patient as an individual with his or her own unique set of habits, preferences, beliefs, and background and tailors her nutrition therapy around the specific needs each requires.
Some services you might receive in a counseling session with Cari include:
- Receipt of educational materials on and a thorough explanation of any dietary restrictions or modifications you require based on your current medical condition or needs.
- Detailed nutrient analysis of your current diet and explanation of any excesses or deficiencies. Suggestions on appropriate modifications to correct these issues.
- Goal setting and continuous monitoring and evaluation of progress
- Behavior modification tools and strategies to facilitate any healthy lifestyle changes you wish to make
- Counseling on your motivations and barriers to change and joint brainstorming on possible solutions issues
- Evaluation of body weight, BMI, body composition, and body measurements
Sessions with the dietitian can be made through scheduling at: 281.238.1313
