What is Aquatic Therapy?
Therapy that uses water's natural properties of buoyancy, viscosity, and hydrostatic pressure to assist with range of motion, flexibility, walking and increased functional status within a temperature controlled heated environment to improve healing and reduce pain. Aquatic Rehabilitation at InterACTION Physical Therapy is performed in a 25 x 60 ft pool which features multiple water depths, a hydraulic chair lift, 89 deg. water temperature, and work space to perform walking, swimming, upper and lower extremity exercise and plyometric work.
